Jane McPhail is a Consultant Burns and Plastic Surgery Prosthetist and Managing Director of Prosthetic Innovations Ltd. She works both privately and within the NHS in Merseyside. She holds full membership of The Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists and Technologists (IMPT) and affiliate membership of British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS).
Janes core work involves the rehabilitation of patients who have lost parts of their face or body due to trauma, malignancy or congenital anomalies.
She also is a specialist in scar management, providing patients with a comprehensive range of treatments to include specialist skin camouflage, medical tattooing and laser therapies.
Jane designs and manufactures bespoke training and teaching models and has been instrumental in the way Plastic Surgery techniques have been taught to junior doctors. She provides international surgical training for all levels of medical and clinical staff.
Prosthetic Innovations was established in 2008 to provide services to a greater catchment area. Enquires from individuals, general practitioners and clinical commissioning groups are welcomed.
